Lumikko OptiTemp IV is designed for the registration, monitoring and alarm indication of the temperature in refrigeration and freezer spaces of food and animal transportation as well as of small stores, production plants and storages.

Easy to use

Lumikko OptiTemp IV is easy to use but still a versatile temperature registration device. If power supply is available, the measurement and registration of temperature are always activated. The changing of all settings and names as well as printing the results either numerically or graphically is possible manually directly from the device, so the PC environment is not inevitable.

Effortless

Lumikko OptiTemp IV is effortless to use. The memory of the device is capable of storing the measurements made by all detectors with the interval of 15 minutes within a period of over one year. In addition, the memory can store the events of four status information, for example the opening of doors.

The reading and printing of measurement results

The device allows to print a delivery receipt, a graphic report or a numerical report directly to the integrated thermal printer. The results can be retrieved to the PC with the OptiWin software either manually with a portable computer by the help of the infrared connection or, at the terminal area, automatically via a digital DECT modem. The OptiWeb2 service enables to retrieve data directly from the internet. Then the iGPRS/GPS module to be installed in the device transfers the data automatically to the OptiWeb2 service. If desired, the service can be supplemented with the vehicle tracking information, route histories, etc. The OptiWeb2 service does not require any installations in the PC, but the information is always retrievable if the connection with internet is available.

Why only one device is enough

The temperature can be measured with six temperature sensors with the interval of 1–60 minutes. Via four channels, it is also possible to monitor the door switches or for example the operation of the refrigeration equipment.

Windows-programs

With the OptiWin software, the results are obtained as graphic or numerical printouts and they are automatically stored in the database. The data can be transferred via an infrared port or GSM data transfer or it can be retrieved from the DECT system.

In the automatic DECT system, the DECT server software takes care of the device register and the data to be stored in the PC.

With the DECT Monitor software one can monitor the devices integrated in the DECT system, e.g. temperatures, status information, access control. The alarm operation can be activated, where for example the temperature alarms for the containers used for storage can be in real time retrieved for example to E-mail or as text messages to a GSM phone.
